2012 NPHS FootballCoaches/Staff/Parents Goals:
Team Goals: WinEvery Game, Practice, Rep, Etc…
Steps to Achieving Team Goals:
1) 2 or more Coaches in the Weight Room everydaybefore and after school
2) Make at least one Positive Comment and oneCoaching Point to each athlete in workouts
3) Create a List for players to reach out tocoaches/parents/teammates for rides to workouts
through phone/e-mails/texting/facebook/etc…
School/AcademicGoals: Team Average GPA of 3.0 or Higher
Steps to Achieving School/Academic Goals:
1) 1 or more Coaches/Parents/Staff checking ontutoring after school
2) Checking Team Grades every 2 Weeks to look forplayers that may need help
3) Check on at least 5 players a day throughpersonal conversations, texting, e-mail,
facebook, etc... asking about gradesand overall well being
Community andother Program Involvement: Find New Community Projects for Players
toVolunteer at and/or become more involved in programs like Young Life/SchoolSports/Etc…
Steps to Achieving Community and other Program InvolvementGoals:
1) Provide ways to help athletes with rides toservice opportunities and other programs
2) Start at least one new volunteer opportunity orsmall group for athletes
3) Talk to at least 10 players a week about joiningother school sports/activities and/or check
in on sport or club activities andgames at least once a week.
